Liu, Kitana, Sonya and Jax headed to the Chicago Bridge en route to Kahn's Fortress and they come across a Tarkatan ambush. Out of all the chapters I'd written for MK: Vengeance, this is admittedly one of my favorites. For not only did it introduce one of my favorite characters, Kenshi, but also how Aiko dealt with her moment of weakness, and how Kung Lao and Kenshi managed to save her and retrieve the Dragonfly from the Outworld occult, the Makeba tribe. With the Dragonfly attained by Kenshi, the heroes were able to get some rest, especially Aiko who was tended by Nightwolf, Kenshi, and Kung Lao after her moment of weakness. It soon touches down near the active volcano, only to trace the remaining lost OIA agent, Cyrax, as well as encountering a very unsuspecting ally! Funny thing, I actually recited this part first before I realized that Con't III was missing on my doc file; Idk why.... After a brief lecture with the teen Kung Jin, Kenshi starts his personal training with Aiko in the technique of koherence, to use her heart and mind as one in and out of kombat. He gives her several warmup exercises empowering her heart fit for her sessions. Raiden had enlisted Fujin to keep a lookout on the Shaolin in his stead. He actually chose Kenshi for Aiko's own personal lessons and her coping mechanisms. There's a nifty treat klose to the end as Raiden, Liu Kang and Kung Lao began to perform their own Wu Shi Rap; a nice homage which was done by Evil Emperor X! Also, I highly recommend the Lemmings soundtrack for the Sega Genesis! Most of the songs are so riveting!! The idea on doing the Wu Shi Rap in my short story, Koherence, was an inspiration from Evil Emperor X. I wish he never would've taken his vids down... So, this is just a basic redux.
