Live From The Bunker 758: Bye Bye Syfy?

Just over fifteen years ago, the Sci Fi Channel changed its name to Syfy. After much consternation from fans, the network eventually came around and kind of sort of remembered that it was a cable channel focused on science fiction. Except now, since it's a cable channel, it no longer has the value that it used to have. Streaming has -- as we've predicted -- killed cable.

Now, Comcast is looking to spin off their cable networks into a new stand-alone venture. And they're probably going to sell it. How long will Syfy last?
