In this video talk to my local coin shop owner and bullion dealer about the possibility of tariffs being placed on Mexico and Canada as early as Feb 1st! If blanket tariffs are placed on our neighboring countries then silver and gold prices can go much higher especially premiums on specific silver and gold coins. Canada produces many silver and gold maple leaf coins every year, but if they have a 25% tariff added to them they may become to overpriced to continue to stack! The same is true with the Libertad coins from Mexico. Also about 44% of the silver ore that we use in the USA comes from Mexico so if that gets a tariff placed on it then private mints may have to pay much more for the raw silver and we could see premiums go up on things like silver rounds as well.
