Frog Lake Campground in Mount Hood National Forest, Oregon, is an old growth forest wonderland gem! It has 33 Campsites, Reservable @ Recreation.gov, as well as a very high quality separate Shoreline Day Use Area with several Picnic Sites strewn up and down the Shoreline of Frog Lake! This Campground is quintessential Mount Hood National Forest - a magical mix of towering old growth forest trees and a regular high dosing of nature's tumultuous elements such as rain and fog that combine to give the area an almost mystical, ethereal feel.

This was done on October 23, 2024 near Sunrise, after the Campground had been closed for the Season. The Elevation of this Campground is around 3800 FT.

If Privacy is your primary concern, I would recommend Campsite #12.

If you want a "Group Play" dynamic of grabbing a couple Side-By-Side Campsites, this is a Campground very well suited for that, I would recommend Campsites #15 & #16, #20 & #21, or #23 & #24.

These 7 Campsites above, #12, #15, #16, #20, #21, #23, #24, are the 7 highest quality Campsites at Frog Lake Campground in my humble opinion.
