With seconds remaining (on a fourth-and-10 play from the 31) Williams hit TE Jimmy Giles over the middle, but Giles fumbled at the 10. DB Mike Downs recovered for Dallas, securing a 14-9 win.

I couldn't find a 80s Detroit game for this one so I'll go with an extra Dallas game from the 80s. I still have a few more of those left. Tony Dorsett came into this game with a sprained ankle and had to wrap up his foot so much he had to wear a bigger sized shoe then he usually wore(size 10 vs size 9). He has one of his best Thanksgiving day games of his storied career.
