Post-Conditioning Pulling Small Workout

First, I began with Bi-Lateral Hammer Strength Horizontal Rows. 5 sets total, 10+ reps @2-3 RIR
-
Next of course I did Wide-Grip Lat Pulldowns. Same set/rep scheme as the rows, 5 more for 10 sets so far. What people don’t seem to understand is that the way the musculature of the back is arrayed, it’s less than ideal to pull from a perfectly vertical angle. Leaning back allows you to put some initial tension in the lats so they engage as the prime mover when you pull and not the arms. The arms are just “hooks” attaching your lats to the bar so to speak
