Amy Eileen Anderson Wright was born on January 6, 1972, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has dedicated her life to building God’s kingdom and strengthening His children. Her personal mission to love and serve has extended to each of her callings in the Church. She has served as a Relief Society and Gospel Doctrine teacher, a Primary president at both the ward and stake levels, and a counselor in ward Relief Society and Primary presidencies. After serving on the Young Women General Advisory Council for three years, she was called as the second counselor in the Primary General Presidency, and in April 2022, she was sustained as the first counselor.
