Depression Tip #29: Crying!💙

I just want to talk about crying and sadness for a moment because it's obviously one of the stereotypical features of someone who's depressed is that they're very sad, they're very morose, they sit in the corner and they're crying all the time.💙

That wasn't the case with me, so I've been asking over the last few days on social media about people's experiences with crying. It turns out to be very interesting!💙

There are people that cry because they've had a negative experience and that triggers them into depression, there are people who can cry while they're in depression and that helps them, and there are people who can cry while they're in depression and that doesn't help them... so that's really interesting.💙

On the other hand, there are also people like me who didn't cry before depression and didn't cry or couldn't cry in depression. That group of people doesn't have access to the release mechanism of crying. 💙
