Moron police bring traffic in London to gridlock - No escape from London

How could the police who planned these roadblocks not know they had trapped all these motorists.

The quality of the Met Police management is dropping like a stone, with cockup after cockup as university students with little or no life experience are parachuted into management jobs they can't cope with. It would be great if the police who planed these road blockages had some local knowledge of the streets they are blocking.
