The Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building located in Dubai, was illuminated with the Lebanese flag and a message of solidarity: ’UAE stands with Lebanon.’ This gesture of support comes amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Lebanon.

Vladimir Putin highlighted the mutual trade turnover between Russia and the UAE tripling over the last three years during his informal meeting with Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Moscow on Sunday evening. He also thanked his opposite number for the humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, including brokering the latest POW exchange with Ukraine that saw a further 95 Russians returned safely over the weekend.

In a historic first, Iran has announced joint military drills with Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea. During an interview with a local TV channel, the Iranian navy commander stated that Riyadh opened the door to the possibility of these exercises. RT’s Yusef Jalali has the details.
