Post-Conditioning Pulling Small Workout

Today’s abbreviated pull session was more of the usual fare. It’s simple and effective so at a minimum I default to this scheme of maneuver. You can’t go wrong with a heavy row and a vertical pull for 1-stop shopping back training

I began with Hammer Strength Bi-Lateral Plate Loaded Horizontal Rows with an overhand/pronated grip. These get lats, mid-back and with the seated position, lever action of the machine and the chest pad you get a ton of stability for a forceful concentric pull and a controlled stretch on the eccentric

For a vertical pull, I did wide-grip cable lat pulldowns. With a slight initial lean back, you want to pull via the pinky finger, through your elbows to engage the lats from the armpit down to the insertion point by the waist
