Episode 402: Both God and Jesus claim to be the Savior Part 1

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we take a deeper look at the what some call a dilemma or a contradiction in the scriptures.

There are verses in the Bible that states definitively that God is the only Savior.

Isaiah 43:11
I, even I, am the LORD,
And besides Me there is no savior.

Isaiah 45:21
Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the LORD?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.

Then there are verses in the Bible that definitively declares that Jesus is the only Savior.

Philippians 3:20
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Titus 2:13
looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

Both can't be true, right?
