BAIER: “Again, Bill. It’s early but clearly Israel is striking after what we have seen with the pagers, the exploding radios, the strikes that we have seen over recent days and now this command control strike that we are told was going after Hassan Nasrallah.”
MCGURN: “Yeah. I mean, the strikes in Beirut not only targeting the commander but wiping out the entire building. It’s going to be controversial but I agree with the prime minister. I think Israel doesn’t have a choice. And in stark opposition to those who think a cease-fire is going to be a solution with Hamas still holding hostages, I believe if they have eliminated Nasrallah, the prospects for peace in the region, actually in the long-term go up. And I think we need to remember, he not only is involved in deaths of Americans and Israelis but a lot of Arabs, too.”
