Trump was on stage about 5 minutes when I heard three snaps, it sounded like the firework snaps you throw on the ground. Then there was another round of snaps and that’s when everyone dropped to the ground. Mike said there must have been a suppressor on the gun. The shots were so benign it really didn’t sound significant. We saw the secret service usher Trump out and the sheriffs carry the injured people off the stands. I think the crowd was in shock- we all just walked out. It wasn’t chaotic. I think most of us thought the shooter was the person in the stands the sheriffs carried out."

Trump supporter who has been to 22 Trump rallies told an interviewer that this was the ONLY rally he had been to where they were not vetting, searching or giving background checks for anyone getting near the stage the night before. Another says that he could drive straight through and he had to walk around just to find anyone. How does anyone explain this other than the fact that it looks like a complete set up from the very beginning? "I was here Friday night for the volunteer set up. I was able to drive my vehicle right and park five feet from the stage. I was never searched or nothing. I've never saw that before I mean volunteered at plenty of (Trump) events and this is the first time I was able to drive right up to the stage. So you've covered other Trump events before? Yeah twenty two of them. So they're typically locked down thirty-six hours prior to the rally. This was still completely unlocked twelve hours prior to the rally. Usually, your search, vetted, background checks to even get anywhere near that place Friday night. None of that happened. What was it like? There was no security for the event on Friday. We couldn’t see him from where we were standing, but we heard the shots. It was absolutely terrifying. We were in disbelief, organized. I thought for sure we had just watched Trump get assassinated before our very eyes. First rally we’ve ever been to. My opinion of him has forever changed. JULY 13, 2024 Campaign 2024 Former President Donald Trump Removed From Stage After Shots Fired at Pennsylvania Rally Former President Donald Trump, the 2024 presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was escorted off the stage by Secret Service after gunshots were fired at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Mr. Trump was injured from the incident, with blood appearing on the right side of his face. This occurred two days before the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. The Butler County, Pennsylvania, district attorney told the Associated Press that a shooter was dead and a rally attendee was killed.
