Day 02

So here on day 2 of our ginger bug, we are feeding it. Just like with our turmeric bug, we are adding more ginger, more sugar, and more water. Our yeast is maybe starting to form, but I don't see much actual activity. That's normal though, I have fermented sodas before as well as wines.

The point in natural fermentation is to create the right environment to promote growth of a specific yeast, in the wild. This will yield a better, more subtle flavor as opposed to a barm yeast.
