Attack by Stray Dogs: Why Does This Happen?

Have you ever been in a situation where you were suddenly attacked by animals? Specifically, by dogs?... 😱

Unfortunately, stray dogs may attack due to territorial instincts, lack of socialization, and pack behavior. Hunger and desperation can also make them aggressive, especially if they perceive humans as threats or competitors for food. Sometimes, even unintentional provocation like eye contact can trigger an attack.

Preventing these incidents requires public education on how to interact with stray dogs, implementing sterilization programs, and supporting shelters to reduce stray populations. Understanding these causes helps minimize the risk of attacks...

In my case, I froze and took a few slow steps backward, careful not to provoke the animals, and then reported the incident to the authorities.

What would you do if you found yourself in a similar situation?
