Francis Barker M-73 Compass, around the fake Witches Stone Halloween fun

Since I could only found a handful of infos on YouTube around the most famous Francis Barker M-73 prismatic marching compass, I thought it may come handy to do a close-up video on my own legendary M-73 compass you may or may not have seen in some of my hiking videos and have been wondering what that is for a start.

Yeah, the Francis Barker M-73 has a long heritage going back to 1822, started with a MK1 model being used by the British Army during WW1, with several improvements and changes since then, made it's high-days with the famous most iconic MK-III used during WW2 by the Brits (this one later became the most cheaply copied knock off in the world, so carefully if you're looking for an original F.Barker compass there are many fakes around and usually easy to spot) the latest model, the M73 can be found here, still in production and brand new with a high price tag made by:
