Trunyan Hill, Bali trek walkthrough
Walkthrough of the hike up Trunyan Hill, next to Lake Batur in Northern Bali. A lovely little hike that presents a challenge due to it's steep incline, rocky ground and slippery surfaces. Not very touristy at all and a bit "off the beaten path". A scenic scooter ride to get there takes you around the edge of Lake Batur and offers a few places to stop and admire the views over the lake.
In this video, you'll find our how to find the entrance to the walk and which way to go at certain parts. Near the top, you're rewarded with a little Warung (roadside stall) where you can buy some water and food to keep you going on the last leg to the summit.
Takes about two hours at a leisurely pace. Watch your footing on the way down as it's very slippery in the dry dirt. Enjoy
