Recent attacks on the nation Israel by Hamas in Gaza have brought much attention to events in the Middle East. Many Christians wonder if this is the fulfillment of Psalm 83. One thing is certain: we are not being told the truth about what is happening by any of our governments! As to Israel, far too many people, especially Christians and Jews, are uninformed about the history behind the formation of the modern state of Israel. Most don’t realize that the idea of Zionism is considered opposite of what the Torah teaches, according to orthodox Jews around the world.

Takeaway:
How and when will Israel return to the Lord? Unto them that turn from transgression. What is their transgression? The leadership of Israel rejected Messiah and the kingdom was taken from the leaders at the time of Christ and given to a new nation. Those who turn from transgression will realize that for 2,000 years they have been in exile because they rejected the Lord Jesus. Is it possible that secular, unbelieving Jews run the state of Israel to the detriment of the Jewish people worldwide?
