Psalm 23:5-6 “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anoint my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Enemies: tsarar (tsaw-rar’): distressors, afflicters, binders, oppressors, adversaries.
Deuteronomy 32:35: “” Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them.’”

Goodness: tob (tobe) good in the widest sense; beautiful, best, bountiful, precious, prosperity, wealth, welfare, favored.
Mark 10:18 “No one is good but One, that is, God.”

Mercy: chesed (kheh’-sed) kindness, good deed, lovingkindness, favor
Ephesians 2:4 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love werewith he loved us”

Follow: radaph (raw-daf) to run after, chase, hunt, pursue
Zephaniah 3:17 NLT “For the LORD your God is living among you, He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
