4A Player of the Year Sr RB #5 Jake Marschall (Chadron St.) ran for 146 yards, 4 touchdowns & a 2 pt conversion to help Chatfield overcome Longmont & Sr All-State QB #15 Keegan Patterson's (Indiana St.) 6 total touchdowns (5 rushing, 1 passing). Patterson threw for 385 yards and ran for 88 more. But the Chargers offensive line was the story, dominating with 394 yards on the ground and 6 touchdowns. Fr #20 Brock Narva sealed the game with and interception, added 76 yards on the ground and 20 receiving. Jr All-State RB/WR #2 Mason Lowe ran for 55, 1 TD and caught 3-54. His KOR TD was called back. Sr. #7 Joe Walker added 55 yds on the ground, So QB #13 Jake Jones added 48 and a TD.
Sr Caleb Johnson caught 16 passes for 102 yards for the Trojans, Sr #12 Jack Moll added 5-135-TD and Sr Justice Lille contributed 5-95.
Chatfield Sr DB #29 Mason Golliher made a sensational, astounding interception by the end zone right before halftime.
Chatfield played without starting linebackers Caden Logan (All-State), Cade Thomas (All-Conference), Dakota Balderston, DE Sam Ayres (All-Conference) and others.
