Setmayer: Trump Has No Plan for Next Term ‘Beyond Retribution’

CAPEHART: “And yeah, you know, Tara? Trump, fine, he doesn’t want to talk about her record, why won’t he talk about what he wants to do with another four years?”
SETMAYER: “Because he doesn’t know what he wants to do for another four years beyond retribution, he doesn’t have a plan other than I don’t know, project 2025 and whatever the heritage foundation and right-wing extremists tell him to do. It’s never been about governing for Donald Trump, it’s never actually been about policy. We have heard this over and over again, that he never took an interest in policy. He did not read his presidential daily briefings. This is not about that, this has always been about his ego, he is a malvent narcissist, and he cannot stand the idea of a woman of color in power beating him. That’s why he is name-calling. We know how he really feels. Out of the heart so does the mouth speak. It is obvious, this disdain that he has, not only for women but women of color. So the insult and continuing to do this, this is digging a hole for him. We all know that this plays to his base which is another whole discussion as to why it does, but this does not play to the moderate swing state voters, particularly, women. So as long as he continues to do this you are going to have women crawling over broken glass to vote for Harris. They may have voted for Donald Trump in the past but they are sick and tired of this nonsense now, and he keeps doing this over and over, and this is not a winning strategy at all.”
