Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we conclude our study on God's purpose for creating the worlds. Yes, worlds with an "S".

This current world is disposable. It was always the Lord's plan to destroy it. Man cannot destroy this world because it is reserved by God until the day He has determined to annihilate it by fire.

Will you listen to the Most High God who alone created the heavens and the earth which combined is what the scriptures call the "world".

2 Peter 3:10-13
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

And again:
Revelation 21:1-5
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Does that sound like God intends to remodel this current heavens and earth? Of course it doesn't and of course, in accordance with His word, He will not.

Since this is true, God has established a single plan for sinners to enter heaven. You must have a payment for your sins. You must be as holy as God. You must be as righteous as God. You must have the life of God. Finally, you must have the Spirit of God living inside you.

Do you have those things or are you depending upon your own righteousness which is of the world? What does God's righteousness verses your righteousness looks like?

God has determined that you need His righteousness to enter heaven. Do you have God's or do you have your own which is according to this world?

Are you offering God yours?
Today's study is 1 hour and 2 minutes in duration. I have broken it into two segments. This is segment 2 of 2 titled "Do you have God's or the world's righteousness. Part 2
