ROBERTS: “Let’s first of all, Juan, start with you, because the president will be in Dearborn, Michigan, the same high school he was at four years ago for a campaign event at the same time, the mayor of Dearborn, Abdullah Hammoud, has joined the chorus of voices saying that he should drop out. Here is what the rc keep pulling out of averages today in Michigan. Trump stands at 46%, Biden at 45.4, this time on this day years ago Joe Biden was ahead by 10 points, 54.4 and eventually won the state by 3%, so there was a seven-point swing, which at this point if you use the math means that Michigan belongs to Trump.”
WILLIAMS: “It sure does, and here’s the thing, what everyone on the political stage in Washington is calculating is Electoral College votes, John. And right now, as someone put it to me today, President Biden will have to get a royal flush to find a way to win this, and the royal flush would require that he win Michigan where his campaigning as well as Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. The so-called blue wall. But other than that, right now, you could go further than what you put on the screen, you could start talking about Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and right now that — what you are seeing in terms of the trend there is that Donald Trump is winning and the political report shifted all of those away from either neutral or likely Democrats or likely Republican. That’s why you are seeing so much pressure put on President Biden’s White House for him to get out of the race.”
