People are not saving right now – they’re not cutting back. A vast number of people are in real denial of what’s actually happening. While everyone is sitting around with an underlying sense of panic - they don’t want to come to terms with it psychologically. We haven’t experienced genuine economic decline in forty to 45 years. Vast number of people alive right now don’t know what it’s like to experience declines in living standards. We don’t know how to deal with it from an accounting or psychological
point of view.
Few economists are hip to what’s going on. We are living through the biggest economic decline in our lives. "News media continues to speculate about whether we will have a soft landing. But the metaphor is all wrong. The plane never took off in the first place. No matter where you look,
if you look carefully, you see a degraded economic structure of stagnation plus inflation. This is not a good omen for the future."
He answers the questions: What does the future hold for millennials and gen z?  What sort of dream can
they have since the American Dream seems out of reach at the moment? How should they prepare? Should they pivot – deviate from the norm where planning a future
/ profession is concerned? How can we help?
