Aussie Ambassadors-The Destructive nature of 'Clean Energy' with Karen Fox

Aussie Ambassadors is an initiative of Australia Exits the W.H.O. sharing the stories of everyday Aussie's representing Australia.

This week we would like to say a big thank you to our guest, Karen Fox for sharing her ongoing work with Lambruk Family and Farmland (LFF), in her town of Tamworth, NSW and the fight to save the community, their homes and the Nations farmland.

The definition of farm:
'an area of land and its buildings, used for growing crops and rearing animals.'

Farms produce food and fibre. They are not solar or wind “farms” they are industrial installations - factories, just like the “vaccine” was a misnomer for the mRNA Gene Therapy.

The proposed solar factory in rural Loomberah directly affects 59 local families.

The Lambruk Solar Project on 3477 acres of prime farmland will put 850,000 solar panels within 15km of Peel St, Tamworth. It’s 8km long & that’s more than 2000 football fields!

Australia has already lost 15% of its precious farmland over the last 30 years. If renewables double that percentage of farms lost what will our growing population eat?

Short-term thinking is not the solution. Enriching overseas investors by destroying the community and the environment is not the Australian way.

Loomberah Families and Farmland (LFF) Inc. supports community, families and retaining our farmland for coming generations.

One of the great lies, is that any renewables projects start at “net zero” – AEMO – Australian Energy Market Operator – has no calculations of the real “emissions footprint” of setting up these factories – they start at zero…..

Tamworth BESS (Battery Energy Storage System)
From the developer's Environmental Impact Statement:
- The BESS facility will have 136 battery containers and 68 PCS units covering over 20 acres.
- There are 665 homes within a 2km radius of this plant.
- The noise this project will create, 24 hours a day, exceeds acceptable levels at all times for the closest homes including the sleep disturbance criterion. The developer “hopes” mitigation measures will help.
- Traffic in the area to increase by 46-62% with the primary route being via Whitehouse Lane, Marsden Park Rd, Burgess and Burgmanns Lanes which the developer says will have “no material impact on the roads”. They have obviously not seen the unsealed roads after rain!
- The lot is bush fire prone land, with 38 homes within 1km and, as with electric vehicle fires, they must burn themselves out if ignited as they are unable to be extinguished. These fires also emit toxic gas.
- Drainage from the site will go into Goonoo-Goonoo Creek and then into the Peel river.
There is another, bigger plant, planned 400m from this one (Kingswood BESS).

If over 50 submissions are received the proposal will go through another level of planning scrutiny. 131 were received with ALL against.
PS the profits and your taxes are going 100% overseas.

According to the Kenny Report of Sky news, subsidies for renewables were:
2019 - $6.9 Billion
2020 - $9.6 Billion
2024 - $15.6 Billion
That's more than $1650 per Australian household. Tell me again how its cheaper! The entire reason for the solar farm we are fighting on prime agricultural land is:
1. to lower the plant food in the atmosphere
2. to make energy cheaper! Would be funnier if it was not true.

Firefighters strike over ‘reckless renewable expansion’

The CFA have announced they will “refuse to fight fires” on land hosting high voltage transmission lines, either solar or wind farm, says Sky News host Steve Price. Mr Price says this move is over the CFA calling out the Victorian state government’s “reckless renewable expansion”.

“According to the Herald Sun, at least 24 brigades will take what amounts to a fire fighting boycott around such projects with most covering acreage hosting the giant NSW-Victoria Interconnector transmission line,” he said.
