On today’s 4th of July edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer concludes his stirring discussion with Bob McEwen, executive director of the Council for National Policy, about what makes America great! We must wake up to the warning signs as our society begins to crumble around us, and recognize the consequences that occur when a nation forsakes God. Listen as Bob recounts America’s proud history recanted in the lyrics of The Star-Spangled Banner.

About Today's Guest: Bob McEwen
Bob McEwen is executive director of the Council for National Policy. He was elected to represent Ohio for six terms in the U.S House of Representatives, beginning in 1980. Prior to his congressional service, he operated a successful Ohio real estate and development firm, and served three terms in the Ohio General Assembly as the Senior Republican on the financial institutions and insurance committee. During his congressional service, Bob served as a special presidential envoy for both Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, and as a U.S Representative to the European Parliament. He was appointed by his colleagues to two of the most coveted positions in the U.S Congress: the Select Committee on Intelligence, which oversees all our nation’s secrets, and the House Committee on Rules, which has jurisdiction over all legislation in Congress. Bob was also appointed to the 1776 Commission by President Trump. Bob and his wife, Liz, have four children and several grandchildren.
