Occult Disney 50: Lizzie McGuire IS DEAD? (Theory)

In the opening credits of The Lizzie McGuire movie, Lizzie slips and falls in the shower - and I would argue... dies! This is followed by dripping red liquid, talk about transitioning to a new life, staring into a blinding white light, and encountering St. Peter in Rome.

What seems like an innocuous run-of-the-mill Disney movie takes a much more interesting spin when viewed under these lens. And it might not be that far-fetched. Imagine being at the height of your career as a scriptwriter, director, anything - and your medium being the Lizzie McGuire movie. Why not imbue it with esoteric meaning and death cult symbolism, if this is your palette to work from?
