Upon Awakening, the Playa breaks out of prison with fellow inmate Carlos Mendoza. After the Playa learns of the Saints' dissolution, Carlos advises the Playa to keep his head down and learn as much about Stilwater as he can.

Legal Lee has a couple of ongoing cases against the Stillwater PD and need the Playa to dress up as Stillwater finest and get him on Fuzz, Lee can use it as leverage.

The leader of The Brotherhood, Maero, meets with Playa and Carlos in the Stillwater Caverns.

A casting director's assistant, Katie, calls the Playa needing him to replace the officer for an episode of Fuzz.

The Playa meets with Carlos but is dissatisfied with the little information Carlos has on The Brotherhood. Gazing outside, Playa sees the Nuclear Power Plant in the distance and suddenly has an idea. Jessica phones Playa and sarcastically informs them that since he gave Maero a "makeover", she would return the favor regarding Carlos.

Playa is tipped off by Shaundi that Maero's girlfriend, Jessica, is going to the Stilwater Savings & Loan bank to make a deposit for the upcoming shipment. Playa quickly sees an opportunity to avenge Carlos' death and heads off to the bank to find Jessica. Playa laments their failure to ask Jessica about the shipment before killing her. Playa is sure Donnie won't know about it after displeasing Maero, and so decides to question Matt.

Richie, Tobias's nephew needs help from the Playa to smuggle product around the city.

Following the Playa's request, Shaundi learned that Maero has been asking about the rescheduling of his shipment. Suspecting that there's a reason for the shipment delay, Playa heads out to investigate. The Playa rallies the Saints as they prepare to launch a final assault on Maero at the Brotherhood hideout, using the weapons acquired from the long-awaited shipment that Playa seized. With Maero having lost so much to the Saints, he calls the Playa for a final showdown at the Ultor Dome.

An MMA fight is about to begin and one of the fighters can't compete, so the Playa takes his place.

Shaundi informs Playa on Loa Dust, a new drug that the Sons of Samedi have been producing very cheaply and pushing around the Stilwater University campus. Playa asks Shaundi how the research is going on the Loa Dust they stole from the Sons of Samedi; Shaundi confesses that she hasn't made much progress but reveals that she knows someone who can. The problem is that this person is still in prison, so they plan on breaking her out.

Pierce meets Playa and Johnny Gat at the Saints Hideout and presents his complicated plan to heist Poseidon's Palace, which is owned by The Ronin. However, Gat and Playa decide it would be easier to simply "walk into the casino and just shoot all the motherfuckers that are between them and the money." At Aisha's house, Playa, Pierce, and Johnny Gat decide that, after the heist they pulled at The Ronin-controlled Poseidon's Palace, they should clean the money.

Laura meets Playa and Shaundi in the Saints Hideout and explains that making Loa Dust won't be a problem - she'll give the recipe to Shaundi. Shaundi remembers that she once dated a guy who used to sell for the Sons of Samedi and that he once mentioned they used to grow "all their shit" on a farm near campus. Playa decides to burn the farm down and cripple the Sons of Samedi's drug production, but Laura is one step ahead and phones her husband, Tobias, who is a helicopter pilot. Under threat of being burned alive, a desperate Veteran Child sneaks into the Saints Hideout, where Shaundi is weighing bags of Loa Dust. In a struggle to get away Shaundi is knocked unconscious, but as Veteran Child attempts to leave with her Playa enters. A small gunfight ensues, but by using Shaundi as a Human Shield, Veteran Child narrowly manages to escape.

Johnny Gat captures a member of The Ronin lurking around the neighborhood and brings him to Aisha's house, where Playa is waiting. Jyunichi and a small group of Ronin have set up a trap in Aisha's house for Johnny Gat and Playa. As The Ronin wait to ambush the duo upon their return,

Helmers, an old, overweight redneck pimp who is known to lose sight of his prostitutes, regularly losing them to rival pimps under the protection of rival gangs. The Playa helps him out.

Playa meets Shaundi at a local frat-party and receives a tip from another of Shaundi's ex-boyfriends, Blake, who saw a number of the Sons of Samedi wheeling chemicals in and out of some buildings, concluding that they are drug labs. Playa is abducted and drugged by The General but, after almost being killed by his goons, he manages to roll out of the car. Not long after, Shaundi calls to warn Playa that the Sons of Samedi are attacking the Saints Hideout, though the conversation is amusingly troubled due to Playa's intoxication.

Pierce follows up on Playa's request at the end of Bleeding Out and gets his hands on the passenger manifest of Kazuo Akuji's plane. Wasting no time, Playa sets off to Wardill Airport with Pierce to kill Kazuo, who is arriving very soon. While in a bar with Pierce, Playa receives an anonymous phone call from Shogo Akuji informing them that Jyunichi is at Kanto. Spotting a chance to avenge Aisha's death, Playa immediately hurries off for the teahouse.

At the Saints Hideout, Pierce expresses his annoyance over being of little help to Playa. Playa assures Pierce that they are used to dealing with problems themselves rather than relying on others, but after Shaundi discovers that the Sons of Samedi are now using helicopters to transport their product, suggests that they team up to destroy the helicopters. With no Loa Dust left, Mr. Sunshine directs the desperate bums at the 3rd Street Saints, promising that the survivors may keep all the Loa Dust that they seize.

After finding out from a Loa Dust-addicted bum that Mr. Sunshine is hiding out at the meat packing plant, Playa decides to head there and finish him off. Shaundi attempts to tag along, but after Veteran Child almost killed her, Playa refuses. Playa and Shaundi discuss their plans on how to get to The General and finish off the Sons of Samedi. Shaundi recommends they tap into the traffic cameras at the Police Headquarters to find The General's Hounfor. Playa is again resistant to bring Shaundi along with them but admits they do not know how to hack the cameras there, so Shaundi comes along. Using the surveillance equipment acquired, the 3rd Street Saints locate The General in his Hounfor. Playa and Shaundi quickly rush to Rounds Square Shopping Center and set up an ambush.

Johnny Gat and Playa are at Aisha's funeral at the Mourning Woods Cemetery when Shogo Akuji arrives with members of The Ronin to ambush Gat and Playa and furiously tells them that they have humiliated his family for the last time. Although Gat asks Shogo to leave, promising him a fight at any other time, Shogo ignores him and challenges Gat in a fight to the death. While shooting cans and discussing Shogo Akuji's recent death with Johnny Gat back at the Saints Hideout, Pierce shows up and reintroduces Playa to an old friend: Mr. Wong. Unfortunately, the greetings are cut short when it transpires that The Ronin, led by Kazuo Akuji, have followed Pierce and Mr. Wong back to the Saints Hideout and have launched an attack. After Kazuo Akuji's narrow escape, Playa has assigned Johnny Gat to guard Mr. Wong and his translator, which annoys them a little. Sure enough, as the three walk down along the Stilwater Boardwalk during the Chinese Heritage Festival, The Ronin launch one final desperate attack.
