History of Memorial Day:

Originated at the end of the Civil War and first observed as Decoration Day May 30, 1868.

In 1971 Memorial Day was established to honor all Americans who died while serving in the military.

The Words of Jesus:

John 15: 13 “Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Jesus also gave his life for all mankind so we could be restored to a personal relationship with GOD and free from sin.

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.”
