It all ends here... We lead the fight to push for General Gaius, causing massive destruction in our wake, where we a re treated to the best cutscenes this journey has to offer. All the while, talking sword--Ahrah--still doesn't talk. And even if he does, he doesn't state any new or relevant information... Oh well, at least Fidget can blow everything up! Once more, we have to trek around the world to get the many hidden items scattered about. In the middle of it all, we decide to give Reed his box, only to find Fidget did a thing and now I must unalive myself for no reason. With one last ability needed before grabbing everything to properly finish this journey, we head up to the active volcano to push back General Gaius' army with a flurry of furry fury... (It sounded better in my head). Regardless, we of course find that the Moonbloods, as the lizard people call themselves, have issues. Feeling like there's nothing left to do main story-wise, I foolishly go about doing random quests and finding strange hidden items about the lands of... I've forgotten. Getting to the peak of the white powdered lump, we start to slowly, but also quickly, regain our memories and understand who we are, but then a Gray-Eyed lizard man appears to make things more confusing. The many unanswered questions I have never get answered, even with a literal centuries old elder that CREATED Ahrah having as much wisdom and knowledge as he does offering to help clarify things. However, so long as Fidget is ultra powerful, nothing will stop me from getting agitated by sensitive controller movement. Making our way north, we find snow, snow and more snow, while also more and more annoying enemies. Thankfully, getting a new upgrade here would see us giving Fidget a cold (the poor girl). We wrap up our treasure hunting amongst the dead mansion, getting one last weird jumpscare before taking our loot to an insane bear woman. She gives us a supposedly tragic tale of her lost love, which requires us to hit a ghost--something our talking blade once told us HE COULDN'T BEFORE! Deep in the bowels... Actually, I got nothing further to say on that. We're still gathering items for a crazy bear lady and nearly getting (and sometimes actually getting) my soul sucked out of my body, and not in the fun way. Our task to head north bring us to some old bear woman, but also ramping up the difficulty, because ZOMBIES! Zombies ruin everything... Fidget has several heart attacks, justifiably so, and mazes upon mazes. However, I could excuse all that if it wasn't for the specters that apparently only the Nimbat can harm--which makes me the escort mission target! Disgusting! Reaching the deepest parts of the caverns, we get poked to death by hidden spikes in order to obtain some special red mushes. After which, we go to "talk" to the squid girl, A.K.A. Hentai Lady (Lady Tethys), about how running the water for too long doesn't actually bring up the water bill. Once we've convinced her we head back to have a moment of silence, then finish the session with the best side quest ever involving Fidget! We dig deep underground to learn that the monsters here are overhyped and complete trash. However, it helps to farm some materials and to learn that POISON exists. Nevertheless, we venture on all the same with having Fidget blow stuff up, while I just aimlessly swing my sword around. It's the only way to help the pajama kid! Calming down from the big boom that made a hole in the ground inside of Aurora (the village) I decide to ignore my curiosity about it and venture off for more side quests and material farming. Things kinda go south when I attempt to find out if there's a special door somewhere and learn that it actually doesn't exist, then with nothing left we handle a dude's clothes poorly for "good" reasons. Continuing to find out what's controlling the monsters, we travel to a village that hasn't made contact with anyone for a while. Along the way, may people sleep soundly amongst all the fire and explosions and monsters attempting to hurt me. Monsters are very nice to not disturb them. :3 Soon after, we learn about the person causing the fireworks and we get Fidget to learn the technique, but not before getting slapped quite a bit. We first gather all the information needed from the main village to get many side missions, then say lots of no's before heading out to find a bunny girl. She seems to like me a little too much and I can only say she's got a mental condition, which isn't as bad as what I've got going having to die over and over again just to get to her and further beyond to continue the main mission. We wake up in a forest to be talked down to by first a sentient sword, then once more by a cute bat-girl (not the TM variant). I play with shame of being a veteran of this game, only to question the basics of what to do as I button mash to keep myself at less than 1% health.
