Spicy & Delicious Firm Tofu/Soya Chunk dish that is so easy to make! See Ingredients & Recipe below:

Spicy Tofu - Indian Style Recipe
Ingredients:
400 grams firm tofu - cut into 2 inch bite size chunks
1/2 tsp red chili powder
salt to taste
3 tbsp cooking oil. I used sunflower oil
1tbsp cumin seeds/jeera
1 onion chopped
3 large cloves of garlic - minced
1 red bell pepper/capsicum - diced
1 tbsp green chili-ginger paste
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp coriander-cumin powder mix
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
Salt to taste
1/2 cup water
Freshly chopped cilantro/coriander leaves for garnish

Cooking Instructions:
Season firm tofu pieces with salt & red chili powder in a bowl
In a preheated nonstick saucepan heat 2 tbsp cooking oil
Sear/brown seasoned tofu pieces, about 1 minute per side
Remove tofu from saucepan, set aside
Add 1 more tbsp cooking oil
Once oil is hot reduce heat to medium & add cumin seeds/jeera
As soon as cumin seeds begin to splutter add chopped onion
Stir fry for 2 minutes then add minced garlic
After 30 seconds add red bell pepper/capsicum pieces
Saute for 2 minutes then add green chili-ginger paste
Mix well then add tomato paste & salt to taste
Next add ground turmeric and coriander-cumin powder mix
Add 1/2 cup water, mix well then add back tofu pieces to the saucepan
Stir fry for 2 minutes then transfer to serving dish/bowl
Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro/coriander leaves
