HASSAN: “The good news is, it’s not permanent and people wake up, and they’re embarrassed and ashamed as I felt in 1976. But more and more people are leaving the MAGA cult. It’s important that people not just yell at people who are still trapped in this delusion. Ask questions in a respectful, curious way that gets them to start realizing they’ve been conned, and that their minds have been hijacked.”

PIRRO: “Katie, I don’t know who that guy is, but he apparently has a solution to taking Trump voters away from Trump. We’re living in an alternate reality. Why do you think he says that?”

PAVLICH: “I don’t think he really knows what he’s talking about. He’s this weird cult expert, someone that Jesse might have on his show at some point, right? Did you interview him for your book? Maybe.”

WATTERS: “I should.”

PAVLICH: “You should. That’s part two.”

WATTERS: “But thanks for reminding everybody about the book.”

PAVLICH: “You’re welcome.”

WATTERS: “You can still buy it.”

PAVLICH: “I think what The Rock was saying was interesting in the sense that we are dealing with the same situation that we were dealing with in terms of candidates as we were in 2020. Here we are again, and he is saying that he made a mistake essentially by endorsing Joe Biden. And he talks about the reason why he endorsed him as he wanted to bring the country together, and Joe Biden ran on division, and clearly None of that has been fulfilled over the past four years. Now, he’s not saying that he’s going to vote for Trump necessarily, and he’s on this idea of wanting to bring everyone together and that everyone should agree on these things, he pushes back on the woke agenda. But I think it really just clarifies that Joe Biden ran as a moderate, he ran as someone who was going to be a president for everybody, and he’s actually been a very far-left divisive president, and people are starting to realize that in the sense of admitting that they were wrong about what the — choices that they made publicly in 2020.”

PIRRO: “One of the things, Greg, that he talks about, he talks about the woke and cancel culture, and he says that it’s more important that you be real and honest and not worry about being canceled. Easy for him to say.”

GUTFELD: “Well, you know what, it’s — if that’s what he said on the air, imagine what he really feels. Because, I mean, he was tiptoeing through the tulips on that topic. Generally, they don’t want to say anything, and it’s true, it’s only big stars who can speak up because they can withstand whatever follows. They are not going to be canceled. But that’s why it’s important. Clint Eastwood had to wait, Arnold Schwarzenegger had to wait, Sly Stallone, Bruce Willis. These guys were not liberals. Most of them were all Republicans, but they couldn’t speak out until they were big enough to speak out, because they couldn’t be canceled by the awful publicists in Hollywood. But I got to point out to that cult expert guy. He looks like a Heaven’s Gate member who missed the comet. Remember, they were trying to jump on a comet? If Trumpism is a cult, it is the worst cult in history. Because people come and go as they please. Everything is wholly transparent, there’s — nothing is secretive about it, and people seem to be having a good time. It doesn’t seem like they’re terrified of reprisals. If this is a cult, then so is Oktoberfest. I mean, Trump, I think what you can say about Trump-ism, if it’s an ‘ism,’ it’s more like your favorite team, where you root for your guy, and you root against the other guy, but you still can hang out with the other guy’s fans. It’s not a big deal. But they can’t, but the other team can’t do it. Trump, people who are pro-Trump have no problems pulling over and helping you change a tire. They don’t care if you got a Biden bumper sticker on your car. They’ll do it. It’s not a two-way street.”
