The Friendship of Sharon Tate & Steve McQueen

Sharon Tate (1943-1969) and Steve McQueen (1930-1980) were rumored to be lovers during McQueen's marriage to Neile Adams. Lovers or not, the two were firm friends, and McQueen was one of Tate's pallbearers during her funeral after her murder by the Charles Manson Family cult. While motives for the Tate murders have hinged on the "Helter-Skelter" theory, another theory involving McQueen's friend and Tate's lover Jay Sebring (1933-1969) is more and more relevant.
