Part 2.0 , improved video coming soon. Phrygian cap, this is the name given to a brimless, limp, conical cap fitting snugly around the head. It is supposed to have been worn by the inhabitants of Phrygia, a region of central Anatolia in antiquity. It was used by a series of revolutionaries - who seem to have picked up the symbol one from another. There is some doubt as to whether the French Revolutionaries got it from the American Revolutionaries, or whether the American Revolutionaries had got it from pre-revolutionary French ideologues. Since the American Revolution came a few years before the French, American iconography can be used as a sort of introduction.

Jesus (pbuh) is not God. John 14:28 (יוחנן 14:28): "שְׁמַעְתֶּם כִּי אָמַרְתִּי לָכֶם אֵלֵךְ וְשׁוּב אֵלֵיכֶם אִם אֲהֵבְתֶּם אוֹתִי תִּשְׂמַחוּ כִּי אָמַרְתִּי אֵלֵךְ אֶל הָאָב אֲשֶׁר גָּדוֹל מִמֶּנִּי׃" "You heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I." Mark 10:18 (מרקוס 10:18): "וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ יֵשׁוּעַ מַדּוּעַ תִּקְרָא לִי טוֹב אֵין טוֹב בְּלִתְיָ מֵאֱלֹהִים אֶחָד׃" "And Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.'" John 17:3 (יוחנן 17:3): "וְזֹאת הַחַיִּים הָעוֹלָמִים שֶׁיֵּדְעוּ אוֹתְךָ אַתָּה הָאֵל הָאֱמֶתִּי וְאֶת יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר שְׁלַחְתָּ׃" "And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." Acts 2:22 (מעשי השליחים 2:22): "אַנְשֵׁי יִשְׂרָאֵל שִׁמְעוּ אֶת הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה יֵשׁוּעַ הַנָּצְרִי אִישׁ אַנְשֵׁי מוֹפֵתִים מֵאֵת הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר יְדַעְתֶּם אֵתוֹ כִּי אִם בְּאֶמְצַעֲתֵם עָשָׂה הָאֱלֹהִים בְּתוֹכְכֶם׃" "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know." 1 Timothy 2:5 (1 תימותיוס 2:5): "כִּי יֵשׁ אֱלֹהִים אֶחָד וְיֵשׁ גַּם אֶחָד מְפַיְעָלִים בֵּינֵי אֱלֹהִים וּבֵין בְּנֵי הָאָדָם הָאָדָם יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃" "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." يوحنا 14: 28 - "سمعتموني أقول لكم: أنا أذهب وآتي إليكم". لو كنتم تحبونني لكنتم تفرحون لأني ذاهب إلى الآب لأن الآب أعظم مني." يفسر البعض هذه الآية على أنها تعني أن يسوع يعترف بتفوق الآب عليه، مما يعني وجود تمييز بين يسوع والله. مرقس ١٠: ١٨ - "فقال له يسوع: لماذا تدعوني صالحا؟ ليس أحد صالحا إلا الله وحده." كثيرا ما يتم الاستشهاد بهذه الآية للإشارة إلى أن يسوع ينكر ألوهيته عن طريق تحريف إسناد الخير. لنفسه. إنجيل يوحنا ١٧: ٣ـ ـ "وهذه هي الحياة الأبدية: أن يعرفوك أنت الإله الحقيقي وحدك، ويسوع المسيح الذي أرسلته". يشير يسوع هنا إلى الآب على أنه "الإله الحقيقي الوحيد"، وهو ما يفسره البعض على أنه تمييز بين الآب باعتباره الإله الأعلى ويسوع ككيان منفصل. أعمال الرسل 2: 22 - "أيها الرجال الإسرائيليون، اسمعوا هذه الكلمات: يسوع الناصري، رجل قد شهد لكم من قبل الله بقوات وعجائب وآيات صنعها الله بيده في وسطكم، كما أنتم تعلمون". تؤكد هذه الآية على أن يسوع رجل مقبول ومدعوم من الله، بدلاً من تعريفه على أنه الله نفسه. رسالة بولس الأولى إلى تيموثاوس ٢: ٥ـ ـ "لأنه يوجد إله واحد، والوسيط واحد بين الله والناس، الإنسان يسوع المسيح". تسلط هذه الآية الضوء على دور يسوع كوسيط بين البشرية والله، وتضعه بشكل مميز كشفيع بشري بدلاً من ربطه بالله.
