A YouTube Subscriber asked a question in my, “Call for Fire Method” video about how a specific application of this would look like.

The sample that was given was a Middle-Aged, male of average (68-69”) height that is 150lbs overweight. The specific questions were:
-
How much weight should we expect to lose (assuming we’re doing all the right things) per week?
-
What is the time frame to sustainably lose the 150lbs?

Without any additional information, my best answer would be .5-1% each week to the first question.

For the second, given this individual is 5’8” 5’9” and then extrapolating from that a target weight of 180lbs or so (150lbs overweight at 50yo and 5’8” so 320-330lbs currently?🤔) I run through a week to week application of my, “Call for Fire Method” in this video.

I run through the timeframe for the big first shot, bracketing back from diet fatigue and then easing into a comfortable maintenance phase at the target weight.
