The Bold Philosophy of Northern Courage & Ragnarök. Spengler, Nietzsche, Tolkien, Lewis, & Carlyle

Today we are exploring the philosophy of civilizational cycles, the reconciliation of Norse and Christian eschatology through Christ, and how these relate to the writings of Oswald Spengler, C.S. Lewis, Thomas Carlyle, J.R.R. Tolkien, Friedrich Nietzsche, and more to learn how we can confront Ragnarök in our age or prepare for it in the next.

This is a follow-up video to my exploration of the story and meaning of the Old Norse poem Völuspá which tells the story of Ragnarok. I recommend watching this video to better understand the characters, story, and meaning: https://youtu.be/pgPd9TggLbc
