What is the Church?

The church, according to the Bible, is described as the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, it says, "For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually." This passage illustrates that the church is made up of individual believers who come together as one body, with Christ as the head. The church is not just a physical building, but a spiritual community of believers who are committed to the gospel and to one another. It is a place where believers can come together to worship, grow in their faith, and support one another. The church is also called to carry out the mission of Christ in the world, spreading the good news and making disciples.
