Salvation through baptism is perhaps one of the most debated theological matters across Christian denominations. There are passages in the Bible that root for the primacy of baptism toward salvation, while other passages also communicate that through faith comes salvation. Below is the rundown of the most important perspectives and biblical passages:
1. Passages Emphasizing Baptism:
There are some Bible verses that seem to link baptism with salvation:
Mark 16:16 (KJV):
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
This verse would therefore appear to be saying, if taken literally, that baptism is part of salvation, but note the emphasis is belief-a lack of it-begets condemnation.
Acts 2:38 (KJV):
"Then Peter said unto them, 'Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost'."
Here, he calls the people to repentance and baptism for the forgiveness of sins, which shows that baptism is part of the process of salvation.
1 Peter 3:21 (KJV):
"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ."
This verse does indeed link baptism with salvation but then proceeds to underscore the fact that it is not the act in and of itself but rather the appeal to God through Jesus that saves.
2. Passages Emphasizing Faith Alone:
Other verses in the New Testament emphasize faith in Jesus Christ for salvation:
Ephesians 2:8-9,
KJV:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."
This is to say that faith itself is a gift from God to provide salvation, not to be attained through works or ritual.
John 3:16, KJV says,
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
This verse alone tells us about belief in Jesus as the pre-requisite to have eternal life and does not mention anything about baptism.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV):
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Again, the emphasis is on confession and belief as a means of salvation.
3. Different Christian Perspectives:
Baptismal regeneration required for salvation: Some of the traditions-one thinks of Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox-tradition does, in fact, declare baptism necessary to receive God's grace and salvation. They believe this process, when applied with faith, regenerates the believer and washes away sin.
Salvation by Faith Alone: Protestant traditions, especially those coming from the Reformation, like most Evangelicals, Baptists, and Reformed churches, teach that salvation is by faith alone. They consider baptism an important step of obedience and a public declaration of faith but do not regard it as constituting salvation itself.
4. Jesus' Example – The Thief on the Cross:
In Luke 23:42-43 KJV, the request of the thief on the cross to Jesus was to remember him when He comes into His kingdom. Then Jesus said:
"And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."
He was not baptized, but Jesus granted him a promise of salvation. This is the case many people cite when attempting to make the case that baptism is not required for salvation, although it is a step of obedience.
Conclusion:
As baptism is commanded in Scripture, and closely associated with faith and salvation in certain verses, numerous passages bring the ultimate importance of faith in Jesus Christ as that which saves a person. Most Protestant traditions teach that baptism is not required for salvation, but rather an outward sign of an inward faith. Other traditions, particularly Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox, view baptism as integral to the process of salvation.

Among Christianity, there exist opposing sides on this concept:
The Arminian/Conditional Security View:
Adherants of this view emphasize that once someone accepts the faith, there is a possibility of them losing salvation due to deliberate, un-repenting sins. These people offer verses from the Bible like, Hebrews 6: 4-6 and 2 Peter 2:20-22, which seem to warn against the idea that once a person is saved, they cannot become unsaved. Gone is the stress on the faithful's ability to “hold-out until the end’ and “stay put in Christ.”
This way if the person was saved in the first instance but renounces Christianity at a later overly stage, it means that the person has actually lost their salvation. There is an aspect which places a demand for continued faith and action on the part of the believer. Such trends on faith include; 1 Timothy 4:1 and Hebrews 3:12-14, which show that people with faith can lose it.
The Calvinist/Eternal Security View:
Those who hold this view believe that once a person accepts Jesus as their Lord and savior, they shall remain that way, forevermore. The basis of their argument is that a believer cannot lose their salvation because it does not depend on their effort but on God’s decision and work. John 10:28-29 and Romans 8:38-39 are some of the verses that are interpreted in the context of the security of a believer for ever.
Those who hold this view would say that if someone genuinely loses their faith, he or she was never saved in the first place. The logic goes that if salvation is based upon the will and action of God, then a believer who is a believer in every sense of the word cannot ultimately fall away. Other verses, like 1 John 2:19, suggest that apostates were never part of the true community of saints.

The Bible nowhere says one way or the other if believers can be "demonized" (either possessed or heavily influenced by demons), yet there are differing views within Christianity on the issue. To form the discussion, let us consider some important biblical principles and verses. First, protection of believers from demonic possession;
Many argue that believers cannot be possessed by demons because indwelling Holy Spirit would never coexist with demonic forces. There are many scriptures that apparently support the thought that Christians are safe from this kind of spiritual invasion:
1 John 4:4 (ESV)
"Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV)
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price."
These verses establish the fact of the indwelling Holy Spirit in believers, and some view this as assurance against total possession by demons.
2. Believers Can Be Under Demonic Influence or Attack
While the question of full possession-the complete control-is debated, many are convinced that the believers may be influenced, oppressed, or attacked by the demonic forces. The Bible gives illustrations of such Satanic attacks against believers:
Ephesians 6:11-12 (ESV)
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
Paul warns believers to be watchful against spiritual attack; therefore, it infers that Christians are under demonic influence and schemes.
2 Corinthians 12:7
"So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited."
Paul refers to a "messenger of Satan" being a buffeting influence in his life, yet he was a believing man.
3. Demon Influences Examples
The Bible does not give evidence of the possession of believers, but it does give examples of demonic attacks:
Peter:
Jesus rebuked Peter when he spoke against Jesus going to the cross showing at that moment, Peter was under Satan's influence.
Matthew 16:23(ESV)
"But he turned and said to Peter, 'Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.' "
Even one of Jesus' followers, Peter, had the potential to be under the influence of Satan.
Synopsis of Views:
Possession: Many believe that no true believer who has the Holy Spirit in them can be demonically possessed.
Oppression/Influence: However, it is possible that believers be spiritually attacked, oppressed, or influenced by demonic forces without the demons taking full control of the believer's will or body.
This balance of spiritual protection and vigilance against attack is emphasized in the New Testament.

Trinity vs Oneness | Christian Bible Study
The Trinity and Oneness (or Oneness Pentecostalism) are two distinct views about the nature of God in Christian theology, particularly focusing on how God reveals Himself and how Jesus relates to the Father and the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity: Three Persons, One God
The Trinity is the traditional doctrine held by most Christian denominations (such as Catholic, Orthodox, and mainstream Protestant churches). It teaches that:
One God in Three Persons: God is one in essence, but exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
Co-equal and Co-eternal: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are equal in nature and being, sharing the same divine essence, yet each person is distinct in their role and relationship.
Scriptural Support:
Matthew 28:19: Jesus commands baptism "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
2 Corinthians 13:14: Paul mentions "the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit."
John 1:1-3: "In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
In the Trinity, the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father—yet they are all fully God. This means God is one in essence but exists as three persons who are eternally distinct.
Oneness: One God, One Person
Oneness theology, often associated with Oneness Pentecostalism, teaches a different understanding of God:
One God, One Person: There is only one God, and He manifests Himself in different modes or roles, rather than being three distinct persons.
God the Father is seen as the creator and lawgiver.
God manifested as the Son to provide salvation through Jesus Christ (the incarnation).
God works as the Holy Spirit to guide and sanctify believers.
Jesus as the Fullness of God: Oneness adherents believe that Jesus is the manifestation of the one God in human form, and the Father and Holy Spirit are simply different manifestations or roles of the same God, not distinct persons.
Colossians 2:9: "For in Him [Jesus] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
Isaiah 9:6: Refers to the Messiah as "Mighty God" and "Everlasting Father," which Oneness believers use to affirm that Jesus is the Father in flesh.
Rejection of the Trinity: Oneness theology rejects the idea of three distinct persons. Instead, it teaches that God is absolutely one in being and person, and that the names "Father," "Son," and "Holy Spirit" are titles or roles that God fulfills in different contexts, rather than representing separate persons.
Key Differences:
Aspect Trinity Oneness
God's Nature One God in three distinct persons One God, one person who manifests in different roles
View of Jesus Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, fully God and fully man Jesus is the one God in human form, fulfilling all roles
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Distinct persons, co-equal and co-eternal Different roles or manifestations of the one God
Scriptural Interpretation Emphasizes the distinct relationships between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Emphasizes the unity of God with a focus on Jesus as the full manifestation
Theological Implications:
Trinitarians see the distinctions within the Godhead as essential to understanding God’s nature and how He interacts with the world, while maintaining that God is one in essence.
Oneness believers emphasize the absolute oneness of God and reject the idea of dividing God into distinct persons, seeing this as contrary to the Bible’s teaching on God's unity.

What's The Difference Between Christian Denominations? | Christian Bible Study
https://linktr.ee/thechristianking
LIVE: Mon-Fri (4pm PT, 6pm CT, 7pmET)
The Bible does not directly state that believers will never go through tribulation. In fact, Scripture consistently teaches that Christians will face trials and hardships. However, there are verses that some interpret to suggest that believers may be spared from certain tribulations, especially concerning the Great Tribulation (a future period of intense suffering). These interpretations often arise in discussions about the "rapture" and the timing of Christ's return.
Here are a few verses sometimes used to support the idea that believers may avoid certain kinds of tribulation:
1. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (ESV)
"For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."
This verse is often used to argue that believers will be spared from God's wrath, potentially meaning the judgments during the Great Tribulation. However, it doesn't say Christians won't face trials, but rather that their destiny is salvation, not punishment.
2. Revelation 3:10 (ESV)
"Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth."
This promise was made to the church in Philadelphia, and some interpret it as referring to being spared from the Great Tribulation. However, others believe it speaks of spiritual protection rather than physical removal from tribulation.
3. Romans 5:9 (ESV)
"Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God."
This verse indicates that believers are saved from God's ultimate wrath, but it does not guarantee that Christians will avoid all earthly tribulations or difficulties.
4. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (ESV)
"...and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come."
Again, some view this as a promise of deliverance from future wrath (possibly the tribulation period), though it may refer to eternal salvation.
Key Point:
While these verses speak of God’s deliverance from wrath (interpreted by some as the final judgment or tribulation), the Bible also emphasizes that believers will face tribulation and hardship in this life:
John 16:33 (ESV): "In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
Acts 14:22 (ESV): "...through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God."
Thus, while some may hold that Christians will be spared from certain aspects of God’s future wrath or the Great Tribulation, the Bible clearly teaches that suffering and tribulation are part of the Christian journey in this world.

what verse says we are dead in christ

The phrase "dead in Christ" refers to believers who have died physically but are spiritually united with Christ in His death and resurrection. The concept of being "dead in Christ" also relates to the believer’s spiritual death to sin and new life in Christ. Here are some key verses that address this idea:
1. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (ESV)
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first."
This verse refers to believers who have physically died before Christ’s return. It assures that those who have died in faith will be resurrected when Jesus comes again.
2. Romans 6:8 (ESV)
"Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him."
This speaks of the spiritual reality that believers, through faith, participate in Christ's death and resurrection. It highlights that just as Christ died and rose again, so too believers have died to sin and live a new life in Him.
3. Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
This verse describes the spiritual transformation of a believer: dying to their old self and living a new life through Christ.
4. Colossians 3:3 (ESV)
"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
Here, Paul speaks to believers, telling them they have "died" to their old, sinful nature and now live a new life in Christ, united with Him.
5. Romans 6:4 (ESV)
"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."
Baptism symbolizes the believer’s death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ, illustrating that through Christ's death, believers also die to their old selves and are raised to spiritual life.
Summary:
1 Thessalonians 4:16 refers to believers who have died physically as "dead in Christ."
Romans 6:8, Galatians 2:20, and Colossians 3:3 describe how believers are spiritually dead to sin and alive in Christ through their faith.
These verses collectively express the idea of being united with Christ in both His death and His resurrection.

Christian denominations represent different branches within Christianity, each with unique beliefs, practices, traditions, and interpretations of Scripture. While all Christian denominations share core beliefs—such as the divinity of Jesus Christ, His resurrection, and the authority of the Bible—they differ in areas like theology, worship style, church governance, and sacraments.
Here are some major Christian denominations and key differences among them:
1. Roman Catholicism
Authority: Roman Catholics recognize the Pope as the highest earthly authority and the leader of the worldwide church. They believe in the apostolic succession of bishops.
Sacraments: Catholicism teaches that there are seven sacraments (baptism, Eucharist, confirmation, penance, anointing of the sick, marriage, and holy orders).
Salvation: Catholics believe in salvation through faith and good works, emphasizing the importance of the Church and its sacraments as means of grace.
Tradition: Roman Catholics place strong emphasis on church tradition, alongside Scripture, as a source of authority.
Worship: The Mass, including the Eucharist (Holy Communion), is central to Catholic worship, where they believe in transubstantiation (the bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ).
2. Eastern Orthodoxy
Authority: Eastern Orthodox Christians do not have a single leader like the Pope. Instead, they have autocephalous (self-governing) churches, led by patriarchs.
Sacraments: Like Roman Catholicism, Orthodoxy believes in seven sacraments.
Salvation: Eastern Orthodoxy emphasizes theosis, or becoming united with God, as the ultimate goal of salvation, and it sees salvation as a process involving both faith and participation in the sacraments.
Tradition: Orthodox Christians hold to a strong reliance on church tradition, including the early Church Fathers, and emphasize continuity with the early church.
Worship: Worship in the Orthodox Church is highly liturgical, with a focus on icons and ancient traditions. The Divine Liturgy, similar to the Catholic Mass, includes the Eucharist but with a mystical and contemplative focus.
3. Protestantism
Protestantism emerged in the 16th century during the Reformation as a response to perceived errors in the Catholic Church. It encompasses many denominations, each with different emphases. Core beliefs of Protestantism include:
Sola Scriptura: Scripture alone is the highest authority for Christians.
Sola Fide: Justification by faith alone; salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works or sacraments.
Sola Gratia: Salvation is by grace alone, a gift from God.
Key Protestant Denominations:
a. Lutheranism
- Founder: Martin Luther
- Sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion (Eucharist). Lutherans believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist (though not transubstantiation).
- Salvation: Lutherans emphasize justification by faith alone, while good works are seen as the fruit of faith, not a means of salvation.
- Worship: Lutheran services often retain many traditional elements like liturgy, hymns, and communion.
b. Calvinism (Reformed Tradition)
- Founder: John Calvin
- Beliefs: Known for doctrines of predestination and the sovereignty of God. Calvinists emphasize God's absolute control over all events and salvation.
- Sacraments: Baptism and the Lord's Supper (symbolic of Christ's presence).
- Worship: Simple, Scripture-centered worship with a focus on preaching.
c. Anglicanism (Episcopal Church in the U.S.)
- Origin: The Church of England broke from Rome under King Henry VIII.
- Beliefs: Anglicanism balances between Catholic and Protestant traditions. It retains many Catholic liturgical practices but adheres to Protestant theology.
- Sacraments: Baptism and Eucharist are considered the primary sacraments.
- Worship: Anglican worship is formal and liturgical, similar to Catholic services, but with more emphasis on Scripture readings and sermons.
d. Baptist
- Beliefs: Baptists emphasize believer’s baptism (baptism by full immersion, after a personal profession of faith) and the autonomy of local congregations.
- Salvation: Strong emphasis on salvation through faith alone.
- Worship: Baptists typically have non-liturgical worship, with a focus on preaching, prayer, and congregational singing.
e. Methodism
- Founder: John Wesley
- Beliefs: Methodists emphasize the importance of personal holiness and social justice, alongside salvation by faith.
- Sacraments: Methodists observe baptism and communion, but view the sacraments as symbolic.
- Worship: Methodists typically have structured services, but they are less formal than Anglican or Catholic services, with an emphasis on preaching and hymns.
f. Pentecostalism
- Beliefs: Pentecostals emphasize the work of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, often evidenced by speaking in tongues (glossolalia).
- Worship: Pentecostal worship is highly spontaneous, emotional, and focused on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
g. Presbyterianism
- Founder: John Knox, influenced by Calvinism
- Beliefs: Presbyterians are known for their governance by elders (presbyters) and their Calvinist theology, including predestination.
- Worship: Presbyterian worship focuses heavily on Scripture and preaching, often in a formal, liturgical style.
4. Non-Denominational Christianity
Beliefs: Non-denominational churches often emphasize a personal relationship with Christ and downplay formal structures, creeds, and traditions.
Worship: Worship is typically contemporary and informal, with a focus on Bible teaching and practical Christian living.
5. Other Christian Movements
a. Seventh-day Adventism
- Beliefs: Seventh-day Adventists emphasize the observance of the Sabbath on Saturday and focus on Christ’s imminent return.
- Worship: Services are held on Saturday, with a strong emphasis on health and diet, along with Bible study.
b. Jehovah's Witnesses (considered non-mainstream by other Christian groups)
- Beliefs: They reject the Trinity, believe in a restored form of early Christianity, and emphasize evangelism.
- Worship: Simple services focusing on Bible study, with no traditional sacraments.
Summary
Christian denominations differ primarily in their interpretations of Scripture, their views on church authority, sacraments, worship practices, and doctrines like salvation, the role of good works, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. However, they share core Christian beliefs in Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the importance of faith.

https://linktr.ee/thechristianking
LIVE: Mon-Fri (4pm PT, 6pm CT, 7pmET)
Have you ever wondered why Christians have different practices and beliefs? This video delves into the fascinating world of Catholic doctrines, exploring how the Catholic Church navigates its faith alongside the Bible.
While all Christians revere Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church, with its rich history and traditions, holds unique perspectives on certain matters. We'll unpack some key areas where these interpretations diverge from a strictly biblical viewpoint.
The Bible and Beyond: We'll explore the concept of Sacred Tradition - the teachings and practices passed down through the Church since its inception. Catholics believe the Holy Spirit guides the Church in interpreting Scripture alongside this tradition.
Faith and Works: Salvation Unpacked: Is it faith alone or faith combined with good works? We'll delve into the Catholic view of justification, where God's grace works through human cooperation in achieving salvation.
Seven Sacred Acts: The Power of Sacraments: Catholicism recognizes seven sacraments – rituals believed to bestow God's grace. We'll explore their significance and how they differ from a purely symbolic interpretation found in some biblical readings.
Veneration of Mary: Honoring the Mother of God: Catholics hold a special place for Mary, Mother of Jesus. We'll explore this tradition and how it aligns with the Catholic understanding of her role.
Priesthood and the Laity: Serving the Flock: The Catholic Church maintains a distinction between ordained clergy and the laity. We'll examine this structure and how it facilitates ministry within the Church.

Is Evolution True? | Christian Live Stream
https://linktr.ee/thechristianking
LIVE: Mon-Fri (4pm PT, 6pm CT, 7pmET)
This live stream critiques the theory of evolution as it presents some evidence which requires further scrutiny. We highlight the absence of clear fossil intermediates and ask if this is sufficient to refute the tenets of evolution. Moreover, we explain the existence of older and incorrect information in textbooks, for instance, the images of embryos made famous by Ernst Haeckel. We argue that these errors are a source of misinformation with regard to evolution more so the myth about the presence of gills in human embryos.
We are not only content with keeping the discussion about evolution and it seems that we will not take any of the theories about the further evolution of mankind which tries to argue that man does not evolve at this particular time. This particular argument dislodges the story of anthropological evolution of ceded evolution and argues for a more sophisticated approach in conceptions of species. Other aspects dealt with include the very idea of evolution which we enhance its general historical development and the implication on a sociological aspect through references to controversial figures among others. This relation is made to reinforce the risks involved in the use of evolutionary concepts and ideologies in the societal sphere.
With respect to the truth, we suggest that there should be acceptance of creationism as an alternative theory to evolution and encourage the audience to look at the briefer as opposed to evolutionary beliefs. Creation exists is what we seek people’s faith and creationism for others is such truth that deserves to be preached. Finally, our appeal is about the science of creationism in opposition to evolutionary science.

Pre Tribulation Before Darby | The Christian King
https://linktr.ee/thechristianking
LIVE: Mon-Fri (4pm PT, 6pm CT, 7pmET)
The pretribulation rapture belief existed before Darby, citing historical and biblical evidence.
Highlights
Pretribulation rapture was taught before Darby.
Scriptures were locked away during the Dark Ages.
Catholic doctrine dominated early Christian teachings.
Martin Luther’s reforms did not fully address biblical truths.
Early Christians, including apostles, believed in the rapture.
Jesus and Paul spoke of an escape from tribulation.
Historical figures like Irenaeus and Cyprian supported pretribulation beliefs.
Key Insights
Historical Context: The suppression of biblical teachings during the Dark Ages led to a loss of doctrine, including the pretribulation rapture theory. This context is crucial for understanding the evolution of Christian beliefs.
Biblical Foundations: Matthew 24 and Luke 21 to argue that both Jesus and the apostles believed in an escape from tribulation, indicating a longstanding belief in pretribulation rapture among early Christians.
Martin Luther’s Limitations: While he initiated reform, Luther’s teachings remained closely tied to Catholic doctrine, demonstrating that significant truths about eschatology were still unrecognized at that time.
Escape from Tribulation: Verses from Luke 21 and 1 Thessalonians highlight a clear distinction between the fates of believers and non-believers during the tribulation, emphasizing the concept of rapture.
Early Christian Writers: Figures like Irenaeus and Cyprian wrote about a pretribulation rapture, reinforcing that the belief existed well before Darby’s time and challenging the notion that it originated with him.
Days of Vengeance: The term “days of vengeance” used in scripture underlines the dire circumstances of the tribulation, further supporting the idea that believers will be spared from this period of wrath.
Call to Study: We should examine both historical accounts and scripture carefully, advocating for a deeper understanding of the pretribulation rapture doctrine beyond its perceived modern origins.

Is the bread and wine literal? | Exposing The Roman Catholic Church
https://linktr.ee/thechristianking
LIVE: Mon-Fri (5pm PT/8pm ET)
Whether the bread and wine consumed during the Lord's Supper (Communion) are regarded as the true body and blood of Jesus continues to be a question influenced by socio-cultural factors and has been debated by several denominations within Christianity.
Roman Catholic View (Transubstantiation):
Belief: Roman Catholic Church asserts that during the performance of the Holy Communion, the bread and the wine are changed to the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ. This alteration is known as “transubstantiation. Although there seem to be bread and wine, it is surmised that the bread and wine have already morphed into the body and blood of Christ.
Biblical Basis: This view is adequately supported by the bible, especially considering that Catholics reference John 6:53-56 and Matthew 26:26-28.
Lutheran View (Consubstantiation):
Belief: Lutherans affirm the “real presence” of Christ in the Eucharistic Mysterium. They maintain that the body and blood of Christ are present “in, with, and under” the bread and wine but do not accept transubstantiation, radther, gastroesophageal confessionalists accept the presence of whole body of Christ and blood appearing along with the bread and wine.
Biblical Basis: Like the catholics, the Lutherans make references to Matthew 26:26-28 as well as 1 Corinthians 10:16 to sooth their stand.
Additionally, Orthodox Talk about Eucharist Says:
Moderation: In the case of the non-communing Orthodox, the bread and wine are more subject to the symbolism of memorials or pictures of Christ than a heavenly Christ who fills the church with his body, Theologian Anderson George says all this in regard to non communicants.
The Biblical Basis: Thus John 6:63 (It is the spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life) and other rhythmic forms are perceived in the way that certain elements of faith are understood as signs only.
