Dinner & Some Travel Tips

My dinner consists of lunch but larger portions. I have here, 5oz Chicken Breast, 4oz Grilled Bell Peppers, 5oz Celery, a Box of Nori, the KC BBQ and a Protein Plus Bar for desert. I also drink in the shaker another 600mg of Magnesium BisGlycinate.

The considerations I make for meal prep while traveling have some nuance that I want to get into for your benefit.

I don’t want to overindulge, taking into account that since I’m here for work, my training volume will be minimum effective volume and if I get to train more, it’s a luxury. Therefore I pick lighter fare, generally a white meat or if it’s a fattier cut, I’ll have smaller portions.

Next, I want to consider foods that won’t sit heavy because I may be in meetings, on a job or driving and I don’t want to have any unproductive discomfort. I’ll try to avoid the gassy kind of veggies like broccoli or brussel sprouts and go with things like peppers, onions, and the like.

Lastly, for the psychological portion, I consider foods that taste good warm or cold as I may not have the luxury of the time or mechanism to heat my meals on the go. I want to stay in the wagon but also enjoy what I’m eating. Consistency doesn’t mean you have to suffer, just make some compromises 🤷🏿‍♂️
