How to Make the Iconic Burger King Whopper

Two guys took over Insta Burger King in the early 1950's and set out to take on McDonalds head-to-head. To do that they needed a special burger to wow the public. The Whopper was that burger. It was TWICE the size of the McDonalds hamburger and with the addition of flame broiling, it was sure to be a huge hit. Fast forward almost 70 years and the answer is clear. The whopper is an iconic piece of fast-food history and still a great burger today. The science behind why this thing is so popular is interesting and we are going to get into all of it. Enjoy!
