"PoPaBiLLy MuZic Song Library" original Song #6, (c) 5/3/1989. Performed by Mike Foster of The Unknown Outlaws. Mike and Philip were at it, as usual, penning lyrics to their next biggest hit! This time, Mike had the song just about finished, but there was one line that troubled him. The old line was, "I could think of better things to do, if I could reach out and touch you." Mike told Philip he wasn't sure about the line because it sounded like a telephone commercial. Philip said, "na, that ain't no good, I could think of better things to do, if I was laying next to you." And WA LA! The song was born! "Liquor, Wine, & Beer", a song that is advertised everywhere there is a, "Liquor, Wine, & Beer" sign!! This is a PoPaBiLLy MuZic Production; Words & Music by Mike Foster & Philip Adams; send inquiries to popabillymuzic@yahoo.com
