Ususlly it just evolves enjoying a fire and cracking a few brews. Nothing fancy, nothing professional. It is my oasis in the desert so to speak. In this episode I do just that. With the help of a few cold ones, I aim to let go the stress that builds from week to week. The fire was way too hot for the high temparatures on these last few days of summer but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It's more about me getting away from it all than it is about the bushcrafting and camping skills. I appreciate you folks blazing out with me. It has been years since this area of North Carolina has seen a snow storm bring this amount of #snow. If I am correct we got about 14 inches. I head to the #basecamp for some #wintercamping. #bushcamp No matter how old you get, a good snow always feels just like it did as when you were a kid. The wonder and excitement never goes away, unless you live up north where you probably wish it would never snow again ha ha ha ha. On this Snowy winter day, the family and I played around in the snow and later in the day we go check on the #bushcraft basecamp that I built in the woods near our house.
