Family Dollar Robbery Investigation
Two armed robbers are on the run after targeting a Family Dollar Store and tying up the store employees, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said. It happened late Sunday night at a store located at 5009 Lee Boulevard in Lehigh Acres. Two men brandishing pistols entered the Family Dollar Store, forced the employees to the ground and tied their wrists with zip ties, according to law enforcement. The robbers later took off with an undisclosed amount of money. One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'11", approximately 25-years-old, sporting a red hooded sweatshirt, clear latex gloves on his hands and a white shirt covering his face. The second suspect is described as a black male with long dreadlocks, approximately 6'2", 25-years-old, 180 pounds, also wearing clear latex gloves.
