2015 PRS SE Tremonti demo

Always eager to try out new and different guitars, I pounce on the opportunity to 'borrow' guitars from people.
A colleague at work, Allan, owns this rather nice PRS SE Tremonti guitar from 2015. A hardtail wraparound model made in Indonesia, it is the signature guitar of Mark Tremonti of Creed and Alter Bridge.
Unfortunately, I know nothing of him or his work so we will gloss over that failing swiftly!

It's got a mahogany body with set neck and a rosewood fingerboard inset with birds and, to be honest looks pretty good. I know it's a medium budget model but PRS never makes rubbish and this has the feel of a very much more expensive instrument.

The reason I have it at the moment is the bridge pickup appeared non functional but it was clear as soon as I got it home that the switch was the issue. Quite cheap and flimsy and it moves and wiggles whilst in use. It was merely the contacts though that needed a light abrasion and some de-oxit to bring back to life. A new short Switchcraft style switch is on order and I will solder it in just for long term reliability.

The demo therefore is of this guitar into a Carr Skylark clean initially then cranked a bit using the built in attenuator, then with my Benson boost as this was a suggestion made to me in my Carr Skylark video so I'm duly obliging.
