Like almost anything in marketing - deciding where to send your traffic shouldn’t be a binary, either/or decision.

I like to look at TikTok Shop as a traffic channel, the same way that I’d view sending customers to an Amazon Store…

There are going to be major benefits - like increased trust from the customer and competitive CPA’s.

And there are going to be tradeoffs - like not ‘owning’ the customer and not being able to increase AOV & CLTV with upsells and post purchase re-engagement sequences.
