The music is from a children's melody, from the end of the XIX century , with the name "Arrión, tira del cordón", which some children sang in the park, while they played in the corro, with this letter:

Arrión, tira del cordón,
cordón de la Italia,

que yo no vaya?

Well, the red sailors wrote this song, with the reason of the collapse of the national cruise "Baleares" in a battle in which, the launching of torpedoes from a red destroyer sunk the ship, the national sailors took this song and made it refer to the battle of cape of palos of 1591, where the spanish navy defeated the dutch navy.
