THE CORRUPTED ESCHATOLOGY OF THE CHURCH (PART 1)

Eschatology refers to things that have a prophetic impact. It is the study/science of last things; including the Last Days/the culmination of this Age. The dictionary definition is: “the part of theology concerned with death, judgement, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind”.

The theological institutions of Christian denominations, made up of Religious redeemed men, are full of leavened eschatology inspired by this World’s Babylonian system over the centuries unto today. In every generation, a minority of humble servants who have not ‘bowed their knee to Baal’ may be found. But with that being said, Christians in general have no idea of the origin of their thoughts and beliefs, or that they run destructively contrary to God and His Word. But the enemy and ‘god of this world’ who inspired them does. In that satan is in an all-out spiritual war to maintain his current status and authority in this Realm; its earth and its heaven from whence he rules over mankind. (Ephesians 6:12, Isaiah 24:21, Revelation 12:7-9)

From the Garden of Eden, God’s intent for His Theocratic Government in this Earth was revealed in His Written account of the Creation of Man. Satan’s intent is to disqualify mankind from that Theocratic Kingdom. God tells us the end from the beginning; the end being God will have His Theocratic Government in this Realm, as seen in Adam’s and Eve’s creation when He then called them to multiply, take dominion, and RULE in the Earth. But due to satan’s clever leavening of God’s Word (his twisting of God’s command), Man fell, and his dominion was usurped. And in the continuation of God’s intent to have His Theocratic Government in this Realm, He called and redeemed Israel out of Egypt by the Passover blood. He then further called that Nation, from the foot of Mount Sinai, to be sanctified in holiness through obedience to the Law of Moses. And shortly thereafter, the religious leaven instilled in some religious leaders began to corrupt the Nation (see the example of Korah and how all those who sided with him and rebelled against God’s established authority fell down into Sheol, Korah having corrupted the crowd, being carried away by his leavening theology). And the leaven increasingly continued down through Solomon’s apostasy (of idolatry in religious acceptance of other gods) with its destructive results ending in the fracturing of the Nation (it being split in two, and the great majority of the Tribes entering into open idolatry). That leavening continued until the whole ‘meal’ of Torah was finally corrupted (Matthew 13:33) and the Religious Leaders at the time of Christ (who, now fully manifest in their darkened religiously leavened minds and hearts) led the nation in rejecting God’s Messiah, who was to take the throne of David in the Theocratic Government of God and rule in this Realm. He would have become King and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would have come upon the Nation, and they would have become the Theocratic Government in this Earth, had they not rejected and crucified Him.

Thus, the Nation of Israel was set aside. They were rejected as unworthy and were cut off/disqualified from the celestial part of His Millennial kingdom. (But not permanently disqualified from taking the earthly portion of God’s Theocratic Government in this Realm, as that was an irrevocable promise given to Abraham. (Genesis 15 & 22) See Romans 11 where Israel was broken off, so that the ‘Nation of the One New Man’ (made up of primarily Gentiles) could be grafted in. (See Verse 19… “The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.”). See also Acts 28:28 which is when Paul declares that God will go unto the Gentiles to call out of people for God’s name, in the fullness of His great salvation plan.

Note that leavened Denominationalism has twisted and spiritualized the Old Testament Scriptures of Israel’s sure inheritance and says the Jews have been replaced/cut off permanently and Christians have replaced them in the inheritance of the Kingdom promises. This is critical doctrinal leaven. For God has appointed only a ‘parenthetical insertion’ of time (of up to now approximately 2000 years), to call out a Nation of people from the Gentiles (Matthew 21:43) to inherit the heavenly portion of the Kingdom of Christ (Hebrews 3:1) that had been rightly Israel’s, “until the fullness of the Gentiles come in” (Romans 11:25) when God will once again deal with the Jews’ leavened blindness. In Romans 11:20-23, Paul also warns the Nation of the One New Man who were grafted in due to Israel’s rejection, to… “Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.” The Nation of the One New Man (Christians) are told not to be high-minded, but to fear because if Israel was cut off by prideful leavening and letting their theocratic government calling slip away in unbelief, how much more will our retribution be if we lose/reject the heavenly kingdom calling? See Hebrews 2:2-3… "For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation”? This “great salvation” (the greater salvation than Israel had come into) includes the gift of justification and “the prize of the High calling” for sanctification (Philippians 3:14). See also Hebrews 3:1 where the author of Hebrews (most likely Paul) addresses New Testament believers as “partakers of the heavenly calling…” (the prize includes an inheritance of ruling in regality in the heavenly Kingdom of Christ). In this present parenthetical period of time known as the ‘Age of Grace and Mercy’, God called forth and still calls out of the Gentiles a people for His Name. (Acts 15:14… “Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.”) Which is to say a Nation and people more worthy of the celestial part of the theocratic Millennial Kingdom of Christ. (Matthew 21:43… “Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”)

The destiny of the soul after he has secured “eternal life” and after this Age, (eschatology) is tied into the parable given by Jesus in Matthew 22:2-14… “The kingdom of heaven (the greater privilege beyond being redeemed, of ruling as the Bride of Christ in His Millennial Kingdom from the heaven associated with this Realm - Revelation 20:4-6) is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son (the Nation of Israel, as they are called God’s firstborn son in Exodus 4:22), And sent forth his servants (prophets) to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants (more prophets), saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them (Jerusalem’s killing of the prophets). But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city (which would happen in 70AD in the destruction of Jerusalem). Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways (unto the Gentiles), and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage (to ‘invite’ them is to ‘redeem’ them so they could have an opportunity to be a part of the heavenly Kingdom). So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: (invited/redeemed but lacking the wedding garment of righteous works - Revelation 19:7-8): And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness (not eternal death, but judged not worthy of the heavenly Kingdom and shall remain tied outside in the dark until some time after the Wedding until festivities of the wedding are over… until the dawning of a new day/age), there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called (being redeemed), but few (choose sanctification) are chosen.”

In the parable of Matthew 22:2-14, there is a compelling change from the Nation of Israel to the nation of ‘the One New Man’. But just as Israel was not ready in their hour of visitation when Christ came to set up His kingdom, many redeemed in the church (who were invited to the feast/offered the Kingdom) are also going to be found unprepared (found as having no garment of worthiness to Rule at the time of the Marriage Supper) when He comes to set up His Millennial Kingdom in this Realm. A lack of a wedding garment represents ‘unreadiness’, which is in contrast to the fine linen garments of preparedness which are “the righteousness of the saints”. See Revelation 19:7-9… “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the (air/heaven of this Realm - 1st Thessalonians 4:17) marriage supper of the Lamb (at the time of the First Resurrection). And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.” These garments are of the Bride who had “made herself ready” by works of faithful righteousness (done after redemption) in loving service to God. These are they who qualify to be in the Kingdom of heaven. “For many are called, but few are chosen” could be better interpreted as ‘Many are called, but few choose’. An example of Christ’s stubborn unfaithful servant who is found unworthy will be shut out of the Wedding and bound hand and foot in a locale of ‘outer darkness’ (compare with Matthew 25:30). This punishment is not just punitive, nor eternal, but answers to every farthing of debt left owing Him for refused faithful service to God after redemption, as well as corrective and refining (Matthew 5:26). On the one side is the awesomeness, wonder, and glory, and on the flip-side of being accepted as a faithful servant, is the severeness of judgement that can come upon the apathetic, lukewarm, unprepared, hard-hearted, backslidden, or apostate redeemed person once they die and stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ. (2nd Corinthians 5:10) (If Israel was judged 70×7 in exponential judgement in order to have a purged people, how much more will New Testament believers, who have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, given greater Written promises, and the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit within us to overcome, be judged? See Hebrews 10:26-31… “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”)

Christian teachers with their leavened eschatological understanding today do not understand the vital connectivity between Israel and the Nation of the one new man/Body of Christ. In order to connect the dots to have proper Eschatology, you cannot lose the continuity of the Hebraic-Roots of Christianity which provides the necessary eschatological connectivity from Genesis to Revelation. Following the first Century after Christ, leavened doctrinal error concerning the connectivity began permeating the early Church, and Christendom began losing sight of the Truth of Scripture in the 2nd Century when the leavening influences of the ‘Tares’ and ‘Tarish doctine’ in the redeemed Body of Christ began to separate the Nation of the One New Man from its Scriptural Hebraic roots. And by the end of the 4th Century, Christianity was thoroughly leavened when it was made ‘legal’ by the World’s Babylonian system (Revelation 17), headed by by Rome’s ‘first pope’; Constantine. Jesus and Christianity was given a leading place in Rome’s polytheistic worship of multiple gods. Jesus was just one in their pantheon of gods. This great affront to God resulted in the Nation of the One New Man drinking the cup of idolatry and being incorporated into the secular and Religious Whore’s system. Today’s Christians who know the Bible, but do not to strive to obey it are like the Scribes and Pharisees; hypocrites. Many are drunk on the cup of the mixing of religious and secular reasoning. Babylon has put religious leaven in the cup, and causes the nominal of the One New Man to drink of it. This defining corruption of doctrinal leaven is first traced in Revelation 1-3, as seen in Christ’s warnings to the churches.

There was doctrinal leavening to an extent at that time (late in the 1st Century), but it would become exponential, and fatal during the time of Constantine. Due to this corruption, Christ is no longer found walking in the midst of the Lampstands. (Revelation 2:1) The lukewarm Church is told in Revelation 3:16… “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” See also Matthew 13:27-33 which speaks of the tares/leaven in the Church of Christ.… “Let both grow together until the harvest (First Resurrection): and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened” (which speaks of Truth-filled Christianity’s infiltration of Tare teachers and the Truth concerning the Kingdom of heavens finally being fully leavened over time.) The growth and the spreading of leaven as described Matthew 13:31 is what happened to the Nation of the One New Man. It was supposed to be a natural humble bush from the mustard seed, but it sprung up and swell up as an all-encompassing doctrinal tree whose size had become inordinately large wherein the birds (a symbol of doctrinal leavening demons) lodge in the branches and make their nests there.

Again, Spiritual connectivity in doctrinal Truth to the Hebraic-Roots is what connects the old covenant Messiah with the New Testament Christ. It is the key to understanding prophecy as to why Jesus is the King of kings and also the Lord and God of this world in a coming future sure reality. His Return/Coming to set up His Kingdom in this Realm after a 7-year Tribulation Period and then rule over this Earth and its heaven for a thousand years, is Pre-Millennial in view and Truth’s eschatology. The leavened alternative teachings of Amillennialism (the teaching that there is no Millennium) and Post-Millennialism (which teaches that Christ’s Return is after the Millennium) have a deadly leavening effect in the Earth, yesterday and today, because they deceive people from the Truth about God’s literal coming Millennial Kingdom, causing them to become then religiously apathetic. Being willingly blinded by their love for this World, they fail to see the Truth of the worthiness of faithful service to Christ as required to be resurrected or caught up and enter into the exclusive literal Millennial Kingdom of Christ, which is to be established soon in this Realm. Nor do the merely redeemed realize that along with this sure sorrow-filled loss, exacting punishment for those redeemed who refuse to be instructed in the Truth and stubbornly remain in a state of deceived lukewarmness towards God’s great Salvation Plan. It will not matter whether they lived to see those days manifest or not, or if they are alive in those final days as Christ’s recompense Judgements transcend time. A Pre-Tribulation, or Mid-Tribulation Rapture of the Select worthies and the doctrine of Pre-Millennialism eschatology, when clearly discerned, speak both of the severity and the mercy of God. Whereas most denominations are Amillennial or Post-Millennial, and tend to Antinomianism.

Sadly, satan is doing what he did with Eve; deceiving her and trying to cause the Son of God to abdicate His future Throne in this Realm… for the benefit of His lost Bride. (Which is to say, Scripture states that Adam was not deceived; only Eve, and that Adam, without his appointed wife and regal Co-heir, could not enter into Dominion in this Realm. Although it does not follow that Christ, like Adam, would follow his bride into death, as Christ has already secured eternal glory, regality, and the gift of eternal life for His Bride, but now she must be found worthy in herself to rule with Him in this Realm. And for her to disqualify herself from ruling in regality, potentially and typically it would type that Christ would follow His Bride into loss of regality in this Realm in the future and allow satan to continue to rule.)

We need to clearly see Anti-Millennialism and Post-Millennialism eschatology in the light of Scripture’s clear unleavened eschatological teaching of Pre-Millennialism. In that the person who stands in belief of either of those two other demonically conceived End-Time ‘theologies’ is both deceived and in danger of defiling others and standing with the enemy against God’s purposes. It is deceived hostility between Truth and error, between righteousness and unrighteousness, between God and satan.

Catholicism and Protestantism stems from Constantine’s leavening of Christianity. In the fourth Century, more developed leavening error came into the Church when the renown theologian Augustine’s teachings formed the basis for the Theology of Catholicism, which teaches ‘salvation/redemption by works’. (Works unto salvation, and Anti-Millennial doctrines of the Catholic Church will be spoken of more in depth later in this series.) Martin Luther protested (starting Protestantism) and retorted with the leavening of the ‘Grace Only’ doctrine. (Note historically that Luther and other ‘Reformists’ did not protest the Anti-millennialism eschatology of the Catholic Church, and thus many Protestant denominations remain in error such as Lutherans, Anglicans, and Methodists. But this now 500plus years old ‘Grace Only’/‘Cheap Grace’ message is false doctrinal quicksand and a slippery slope of error, in that the equally leavened Truth states that “no works” are necessary for inheriting any of the blessed promises of the Scriptures because of an all-encompassing imputed righteousness in Christ’s Atonement. In this misleading doctrine, there is an overemphasis on God’s attributes of mercy, love, and tenderness, while dismissing His attributes of Holiness and Justice. It is a belief due to the designed ignorance concerning the Truth of the ‘Gift and the Prize’ clearly taught in Scripture. There is so much confusion and error today due to teachers’ lack of understanding the fullness of God’s Salvation Plan. They teach deceiving, corrupted doctrines with small portions of truth that effectively disqualify the denominationalized adherents. The destructive error comes in when they teach that part of His Grace (undeserved, unmerited favor, without works) as the whole Truth of God’s great Salvation Plan for Man.

Historically, Calvin and Luther did not understand the difference between the Gift of justification and the Prize in sanctification; the two parts of the great Atonement of Christ. And millions follow “the broad way that leads to destruction” having drank from the cup of the Harlot, and will suffer the sad consequences of the just judgements of Christ levied on His redeemed faithless servants. Some of those will be severe, particularly for teachers, as ‘theirs is the greater accountability’. Especially those that have callously twisted and re-defined the Greek words to their benefit in order to make their leavened doctrinal beliefs seem more solid. Satan has used such leavened ‘Church Tares’ to corrupt key Greek words in Scripture’s text from the early centuries to maintain a deceitful and destructive hold on Eschatology, and on the vital understanding of the End-Times. He has stolen from the Redeemed that they might be disqualified, being content with their one ‘talent’ (see the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30), that they might become Laodicean in nature, apathetic and without revealed knowledge of the grave judgements which they will face at the Bema of Christ. (2nd Corinthians 5:10, Hebrews 9:27) Again, while all 66 Books of the Bible are infallible, and perfectly inspired by God and written by men as directed by the Holy Spirit, men still have twisted and leavened the Truth to suit their satanically inspired doctrines. Today, what is taught in Christendom, and received as Truth, when closely examined by the sincere of heart, it is soon discovered that it is not reflective of what is in His New Testament Word. As some key New Testament Greek words also were redefined in their meaning to accommodate error of doctrine developed after the 4th Century (several key words we will look at throughout this series).

The enemy has put Christians in a spiritual fog. It’s one thing for satan to experience the loss in his kingdom in the those being redeemed out of his kingdom in Christ, but from the enemy’s wicked viewpoint, it’s entirely another for the redeemed person to come into the working knowledge of sanctification in the knowledge of God’s full Salvation Plan. Satan’s final destiny is more impacted when the redeemed’s eyes are opened to Truth and are made acutely aware of his diabolical intent to deceive and disqualify us from the Millennial Kingdom inheritance and replacing him in this heaven’s ruling, while he is chained up for that 1000 years in the “Pit” within Hades. Overwhelmingly, Christians’ eschatological viewpoints are mostly aligned with what their denominations or their own families believe versus their having compared their views with the Truths of the Bible for themselves. Christians believe what they believe and do not have a solid basis for what they believe about Scripture, only what someone else has told them. And even if they study the Word, it is with denominational eyes or some religious bias that skews their view from seeing the Truth. There has been so much wrong teaching ‘in that which is evil is called good, and that which is good called evil’ that is going unquestioned because of what has been passed down generation after generation, which has fed the fuel for the dominantly materialistic religious views of today… New, even more diluted, tributaries are branching forth out of old fully leavened denominations which are disqualifying millions more from the inheritance of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ, due to the End-Time prophesied false doctrines, including that of “Gain is Godliness.”

Paul, that great Pharisee, who had no idea he was contrary to God. This is also true of sincere denominationalized Christian teachers who unwittingly have been blinded by satanically inspired doctrines and resist Truth. Many Christian leaders today believe wrongly, as Paul did, and many continue to “kick against the pricks”, and would even die for their beliefs. They have fervor, but they are in ignorance. They are sincere but sincerely wrong. There are great consequences for teaching error, as ‘Shepherds’ will be judged more harshly for misleading the sheep. (James 3:1) It is a real challenge to break through the wall of years of indoctrination of denominational corrupting leavened error and come to a place of enlightenment and understanding, but God is able to do just that to any who are sincerely willing, in light of the grave consequences, to turn from ‘doctrines of men’ and seek His Truth. Once God reveals it to us, we must not be derailed from correcting our error and must not shirk our responsibility over those we have been entrusted to teach. As teachers, a blessed place to be is to be able to speak His Truth boldly and peacefully with assurance in our own hearts, after we have 1) made sure we have a good translation of the original Scriptures 2) made sure of the right interpretation of the good translation 3) made the correct or right application of a given passage after comparing Scripture to Scripture.

To recap, the advancement of God’s Plan to develop redeemed children into governing first-born sons requires a vital spiritual connectivity by the Nation of the One New Man (called primarily out of the Gentiles), to the Old Testament Kingdom promises of the Theocratic Kingdom. Without which, you cannot connect the Old Covenant Messiah with the New Testament Christ. As we’ve discovered, this dis-connectivity is the featured leavened doctrine of all denominational schools of thought; the disqualifying teaching of the New Testament ‘Tares’, all by the deceitful design of satan, to obscure the Truths found in ‘Pre-Millennialism eschatology' of the Coming of Christ and His worthy Bride to establish His Theocratic Kingdom in this Realm in His Millennial Kingdom, Who are Scripturally ordained by God to replace satan’s current evil theocratic kingdom. (Revelation 20:4-6)

In this lesson, we are laying the foundation for the superstructure, and in future lessons will go further into more details as to what various Denominations believe, but not too much in depth, as it is much better to spend time on the Truth versus what is not Truth… as it is better to light a candle than to rail against the darkness.
