Important Youtube Subscription Bug Report

Whenever someone asks me to "sub4sub" or something, I always tell that that I don't care about the subscriber number. What I really mean is that I care about who likes me and my work, not some inflated number. I expect that a lot of other people feel the same as I do on that subject. Youtube breaking the subscription system messes that up for a lot of people.

Hopefully with enough reports they'll look into it and get it fixed.

=====Sub Glitch List and Solutions=====

Glitch 1: You aren't getting notified of uploads from people you are subscribed to.

Solution: Check their pages manually instead of using the Youtube homepage.

-I learned of this one when people kept saying that they didn't know I was uploading videos and had a lot to catch up on. I looked into it and sure enough it's pretty widespread.

Glitch 2: You are being unsubscribed from people.

Solution: Make sure you aren't getting unsubscribed from people my making a notepad file of all the people you are subscribed to and compare the list with your subscription manager and/or bookmarking their pages. This method could also be used for Glitch 1, but would probably fill up your bookmarks unless you make a separate folder for it.

-I learned of this one when I noticed people's sub counts were dropping for no reason recently. I also know about it because people have been telling me they were getting unsubbed from me over and over. I can confirm this because I noticed that certain people would sub to me multiple times over time. This one isn't quite as widespread, but a pretty annoying one if you have it.
