We must create clouds to create a path! Well, a good chunk of the time. The rest is regular platforming or combined with clouds. Long jumping can yield very effective distance covering, backflipping yields very effective vertical distance at a tight area. But around the areas, there sure are a lot of hungry critters... One we want to feed, the other not so much.
